Commenting on the success of this year’s awards ceremony, event director, Michelle Tayton said, “The Festival Supplier Awards are now firmly established as an important date in the festival and outdoor event calendar. We’ve got a great formula; a room full of fantastic people, at the top of their game and plenty of networking opportunities for everyone who attends.
“This coupled with the fact that they’re held at the perfect time of year ensures that we’re bringing the industry together to look back and celebrate the successes of the previous year whilst firmly looking forward to the season ahead. The feedback from all involved has been overwhelmingly positive and we’re already planning bigger and better things for 2018.”
Preceding the Festival Supplier Awards was a meeting with Powerful Thinking’s Festival Vision:2025 representatives, which saw over 40 festival organisers attend a day of workshops and networking, sharing experiences and helping to shape the direction of future research and resources for its sustainable initiatives.
