Germany - CAST Software of Toronto, Canada is bringing some racing excitement to the show floor at Prolight+Sound 2012.

CAST's stand design will feature a slot-car racetrack that pit two people against each other in a head-to-head race: both racers will try to beat the realtime speed of BlackTrax. The racetrack itself is projected from above and the entire stand will be bursting with BlackTrax-filled interactivity involving lighting, spatial audio, projections, automated scenery, and giving the audience a fully immersive entertainment experience.

UK - At PLASA Focus: Leeds, Green Hippo will be releasing a service pack for their current 3.1 build of award winning Hippotizer software. The release includes improvements to many of the popular components and contains over 80 minor fixes over the current release. New features and New Hardware will also be on show, including I/O panels and the latest in 3G HD/SDI input cards as well as requested features such as keystone on each layer and a new Tap Tempo feature in Beat bridge. USA - PLASA Focus: Nashville 2012 has launched with a new website and free online registration. The event will take place 11-12 July 2012 at the Municipal Auditorium, in Nashville, TN.

Nashville is the latest event to be launched under the PLASA Focus banner, and follows the hugely successful PLASA Focus: Austin, held in February of this year.
