USA - Due to be unveiled at the end of September, the new Big Hoss TV, a GoVision project featuring a digiLED VISION ULTRA screen, will deliver a significantly bigger, brighter experience for fans at Texas Motor Speedway, in Fort Worth, Texas. Owned by US leading sponsor Speedway Motorsports LLC, the venue is one of the country’s largest sports facilities.
The screen replaces the original, Guinness World Record winning, Big Hoss TV which has graced the venue since 2014. The new and improved screen, sited on the backstretch of the track, measures a massive 22,692sq.ft, the equivalent of 4,331 42” TVs, and with over 8.2m pixels, boasts a 22% rise in pixel count, one of the largest screens in the world.

China - Votion Studios, a technology-driven creative agency in Hong Kong, incubated by Vobile Group in 2021, has launched a new virtual production studio that centres around an AOTO LED display powered by LED video processing from Brompton Technology.
The studio’s expertise extends beyond production, and also encompasses the pivotal pre-production stage. Through its dedicated in-house VFX team, the facility offers comprehensive support to its clients, functioning as a creative hub for the development of XR and VP productions, underlining its commitment to go be more than a service provider by cultivating partnerships that drive inventive storytelling.
In 2022, Votion reinvested in its LED volume, replacing the original LED configuration with advanced AOTO LED panels and Brompton’s Tessera LED processors.

USA - Sports fans are being treated to a massive 2,000sq.ft video screen at the new DraftKings Sportsbook bar at Chicago’s Wrigley Field stadium, with game footage and betting information delivered by a tvONE CORIOmaster2 video processor and integrated by tvONE partner McCann Systems.

UAE - Seaworld at Yas Island Abu Dhabi is the region’s first Marine Life Theme Park. It is also the first facility in the MENA region to achieve Global Human certification (the international brand of American Human, which is the world’s largest certifier of animal welfare). The new attraction was delivered by ALEC Engineering & Contracting LLC and opened its doors to the public in May 2023.
Unusual Rigging was brought on board by ALEC and subcontractors ASU and Holovis to handle the various rigging installations around the park, ensuring that the equipment and design solution remained constant throughout the different disciplines and buildings.

UK - When Audio Light Systems was contracted as specialist theatre systems installation contractors, to deliver The Studio at Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Doughty Engineering was the supplier of choice for the facility panels and production light boxes that the venue would need.
The Studio - a home for new expressive art, opened its doors earlier this summer - more than 40 years after it was originally planned. Although a smaller performance place was part of the original 1970’s design of the site at Port-Na-Craig, financial restrictions meant that this particular ambition could not be realised at the time. Australia - Sydney Showground was established in 1998 as a purpose-built home for major events as part of the multi-million dollar development leading up to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Today it's a multi-use venue, hosting nearly 150 national and international events annually, including music festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, trade shows and the Sydney Royal Easter Show, its flagship event and the nation's largest annual ticketed event.
Sydney Showground comprises several buildings, including Giants Stadium, the Dome and Exhibition Complex, Charles Moses Stadium, Howie Complex, the Sydney Royal Stables, and more. After 25 years of nearly continuous operation, the AV system was in need of refurbishment, so they turned to Connect Series amplifiers from LEA Professional to return the AV system to its former glory.

Vapiano enlisted the services of installer Marquee AV to upgrade the audio system in their Paddington restaurant.
After reviewing the client request and specifications, Stacey Tough, project director at Marquee AV, contacted Audiologic regarding the supply of the audio system. Belgium - The Concert Hall venue, which is part of the Music Centre de Bijloke in Ghent, was once a 13th century civic hospital and now offers a vibrant and interesting blend of music often embracing additional performance and visual art forms like theatre and film.
During the pandemic, The Concert Hall which retains its original wooden curved frame roof and exterior walls, was completely renovated. New lighting was installed as part of this upgrade, including 13 x Robe T1 Profiles, which were specified by the Music Centre’s technical manager, Natan Rosseel and his team.
The works included removal of the entire floor which was sunk down by one metre. This was primarily to improve the acoustics; however, it has also resulted in an additional metre gain of headroom very much welcomed by the lighting department.

Australia - Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre features the Joyce Schneider Auditorium, a 500-seat theatre with modern facilities including a comprehensive, computerised sound and lighting control room. The theatre completed a significant lighting system upgrade, transitioning from outdated halogen lamps to more advanced technology.
David Brown, the technical coordinator of the venue, explained that the upgrade had been planned for some time, but the increasing difficulty in finding and the high cost of halogen lamps expedited the need for a change. The Covid-19 pandemic, which temporarily suspended performances, provided the perfect opportunity to carry out the upgrade, and David took the chance to conduct an in-depth market research and compare various options. After careful evaluation, he presented a comprehensive report to the council for approval.

Thailand - Following extensive renovations starting in 2019, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok reopened in late 2022 with 300,000 square metres - three times larger than the original venue layout - available for a variety of events and activities.

The term “immersive communications” in this context refers to 3D multimedia, including surround video and spatial acoustic systems. Vienna-based distributor LB-electronics provided 15 Claypaky Sinfonya Profile, 15 Arolla Profile MP and eight Arolla Profile HP fixtures. The lights were selected and installed by Thomas Trummer, head of the lighting & video department at the Schauspielhaus Graz since 2009.
The historic Schauspielhaus Graz opened in 1776 and is the biggest theatre in the Austrian province of Styria. It presents classical drama and comedy productions as well as a wide range of contemporary drama.

With support from Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), the venue is embracing an eco-friendly option that not only benefits the planet but also enhances the audience's theatrical experience.
In an effort to promote technological advancement and energy conservation, PNRR is extending aid to the theatre industry as it recovers from the pandemic. Teatri di Siena is seizing this opportunity by upgrading its lighting system. Seasoned electrician and lighting aficionado Andrea Garbini is leading the venue's ongoing renewal efforts, along with colleague Michele Pisano. Together, they are making significant strides towards a sustainable and eco-friendly future for the theatre industry through the PNRR initiative.

France - Prolights illuminated the Gouffre de Poudrey, a site in the Franche-Comté region of eastern France. It is a well-known underground cave system which attracts a considerable number of visitors every year.
The cave formation is a result of water erosion from the River Loue, which over millions of years cut through the karstic limestone rock layers, creating stunning underground formations.
The design and installation of the new luminous scenography were entrusted to the company TSE; a project full of technical challenges: the main underground chamber of the Poudrey abyss measures 130m in width, 100m in length and 40m in height, moreover it is accessed through a 27m long channel and its walls are adorned of stalactites and stalagmites that reach 7m in height.
