Ambersphere is offering four training sessions on the dot2 at the SECC on both days of PLASA Focus
UK - The Ambersphere Solutions are gearing up to welcome visitors to PLASA Focus at Glasgow's SECC on 18-19 January. At Stand C1 the team will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate a selection of fixtures from each of the four premier manufacturers Ambersphere represents.

The Dalis 862 from Robert Juliat is a 150W LED footlight that features two rows of 24 asymmetric reflectors; each row can be controlled independently providing flexibility of deployment. Commended at the PLASA 2016 Awards for Innovation the Dalis is yet another example of quality and intelligent design from Robert Juliat.

Adding to Ayrton's family of Magicdot fixtures is the Magicdot-SX which features a revolutionary 8:1 optical zoom that has an impressive range of 5o to 40o and can switch from Beam to Wash virtually instantaneously. The unit boasts the same compact form, dimensions and features as the Magicdot-R.

The Scenius from Clay Paky has already gained a reputation as the 'go to' moving head luminaire for performance, efficiency, effects and all round flexibility. From intimate TV studios to the largest of open air shows, the Scenius never fails to impress.

The dot2 console from MA Lighting continues to attract buyers from every corner of the industry. Reflecting this extraordinary level of interest, Ambersphere is offering four training sessions on the dot2 at the SECC on both days of PLASA Focus: Glasgow. The 90-minute sessions are 'free to attend' and will be held in the 'Etive Room' on the ground floor of the SECC, adjacent to the show floor. On each day, the sessions will begin at 11am and 2.30pm respectively.

Delivered by Ambersphere Solutions' Thor André, the seminars offer hands-on instruction covering all the basic operational features of the dot2 console including how to control fixtures, create presets and cue lists, as well as building chases and using effects.

"The dot2 is equally at home running a highly structured single cue list play as it is making things look pretty for a corporate event or busking a rock concert," says André. "There is always a great deal of interest in the dot2 at trade shows but, as is the nature of these events, it is not possible to cover all the functionalities of the board in a brief 'on stand' demo. The training sessions are a great opportunity for anyone that wanted to get more 'in-depth'."

Pre-booking is advised as the sessions are always popular and places are going fast - register details via the PLASA Focus: Glasgow. website: http://glasgow.plasafocus.com/Seminarday1.aspx
