Cloud Z-Series solution for Green Spot

Recently called upon by Monleon Electronica to provide Green Spot, a newly opened vegetarian restaurant situated just north of the Barceloneta metro, with a zonal audio solution for the restaurant’s vegetarian / non-vegetarian diners, Instalso Audio Visual chose a Cloud Z4 MK four-zone mixer alongside Bose Freespace speaker and Bose multi-channel amplifier solutions.
In keeping with the architect’s minimalist design theme a number of Bose Freespace satellite and sub-bass loudspeaker combinations are discretely mounted throughout the restaurant, connected to Bose multi-channel DSP amplifiers.
Zonal functionality and overall control of the installed audio system is managed by the Cloud Z4 MK4 zone mixer. Audio outputs from each individual zone of the Z4 Mk4 are routed via separate noise-limiter channels, to amplification stages, to ensure sound pressure levels within the restaurant meet municipal noise-level control requirements of Barcelona City Council.
Latest MK4 versions of the Z-series mixers from Cloud feature improved universal power supplies, providing improved input voltage range from 85V-254V, making them suitable for use across the globe. In the example at Green Spot, the new improved power supply allows for additional internal Bose EQ cards, remote paging consoles and external input/control devices to be connected and powered successfully by the Cloud zone mixer.
