UK - The New Year brings a new Canadian distributor for UK loudspeaker manufacturer, Turbosound. The appointment, which takes effect 1 January, 2008, will see Erikson Pro taking charge of Turbosound's interests in the region.

"Erikson Pro has over 25 years' experience in the industry," says Turbosound's managing director, Simon Blackwood. "They handle a number of powerful complementary brands and being a division of JAM Industries Limited which owns our US distributor, American Music & Sound, this will make for a coordinated approach across the American continent."

Erikson Pro is based in Montreal at JAM's head-office and benefits from a dedicated sales rep force calling on retailers as well as professional sound and lighting installers across Canada. In-house marketing, sales, service and parts departments deliver strong sales support.

"Phase linearity is reminiscent of the better attributes governing audio fidelity, and the essence of what Turbosound is all about," says Christian Bouchard, head of Erikson Pro. "Today's technology at Turbosound not only bears the heritage that made the brand so famous, but carries it forward to new heights in the science of audio reproduction. We feel privileged to be part of the team and we will be delivering the message loud and clear for all to hear.""We expect this powerful combination will facilitate a rapid increase in our market penetration within Canada," adds Blackwood. "We're looking forward to a very successful 2008 with Erikson Pro."
