Vistors to the Green-GO stand can expect to see all the latest developments in the field of intercoms and the full range of Green-GO products
Germany - Green-GO, the digital intercom over Ethernet system from ELC Lighting, is set to debut the sports edition of its professional wireless system at Prolight + Sound.

Silvio Cibien, sales manager at ELC Lighting, explains, "Vistors to the Green-GO stand can expect to see all the latest developments in the field of intercoms and the range of Green-GO products available to them. We are extremely proud to be bringing both our new wireless system and also our sports edition of the system to the show. Prolight + Sound is an important platform from which to launch these products, putting us in front of a truly international audience."

The new Green-GO wireless system uses DECT wireless technology and provides all the same features and flexibility expected from the wired system. Each PoE antenna will support up to four beltpacks and simply use additional PoE antennae to extend the range of the wireless system.

Silvio adds, "We want to make things easier for our customers and with the new system we think we have achieved that - no need for a separate interface to connect the wireless system into existing wired system - just plug in the wireless antenna, clone the configuration and it's up and ready to use. By having the matrix integrated in each beltpack, the Green-GO system is extremely flexible and simple, both to operate and to wire. The beltpacks have all the same functionality and features as the wired ones so for the user it is very easy to move from one system to another, or indeed combine both systems. It was these features, unique to Green-GO, which attracted the attention of one of the world's greatest football leagues and has resulted in the sports edition of the system being rolled out.

"Towards the end of 2014, we were approached by one of the biggest professional sports leagues in North America when they were looking for a bespoke solution for their instant replay and injury review system. In a noisy outdoor stadium environment the ability to communicate via intercom is vital and so we worked with them to create a state of the art Green-GO system, tailored to their specific requests."

One of the client's specific requirements that has been incorporated into the design is that the devices should work outdoors in all weather conditions - perfect for stadiums, outdoor arenas and open air productions.

"Green-GO strives to stay one step ahead of the game and with this latest wireless development and the new sports edition, we feel we are offering even the most demanding users something unique. We pride ourselves on listening to our customers, and indeed taking their ideas of how a product can be improved or adapted, and passing this feedback onto our r&d team. We look forward to gathering some essential feedback at this year's show," Silvio concluded.
