PLASA Focus generated two days of constant activity, high quality visitors and huge interest in The Warehouse's products and expertise
UK - Leading pro-audio provider The Warehouse Sound Services has reported a huge increase in footfall and interest during this year's PLASA Focus show in Glasgow. The company showcased a range of products from d&b audiotechnik, Avid, EM Acoustics, RCF, Shure, Allen + Heath, Yamaha and Sennheiser. The event provided the Scotland headquartered organisation an opportunity to exhibit in its hometown with feedback and enquiries surpassing all expectations.

With a significant increase in exhibitors and attendees, PLASA Focus generated two days of constant activity, high quality visitors and huge interest in The Warehouse's products and expertise.

At the event, The Warehouse showcased a range of quality audio products. Running alongside the main PLASA Focus show, The Warehouse hosted an Array Processing presentation at their Glasgow premises. The Warehouse is Scotland's only d&b audiotechnik sales partner, so PLASA Scotland provided a unique opportunity to work directly with the d&b team to demonstrate the d&b audiotechnik Y and V Series line array systems using Array Processing. The demonstration was really well attended by PLASA delegates with great attendee feedback.

In addition, The Warehouse joined forces with Adam Hockley from the d&b audiotechnik Education and application support team for a seminar on line arrays that was filled to capacity with inquisitive delegates.

Janet Murray, director of The Warehouse Sound Services commented, "We're thrilled with the feedback and sales we've generated at this year's PLASA Focus. The trade and consumer attendance was great this year and has resulted in many enquires. This has been a productive event for The Warehouse based on the volume of new and existing customers who came specifically to see our product range. We've also had positive feedback about our product presentations, seminars and demonstrations."

At the event, The Warehouse showcased a range of quality audio products including d&b audiotechnik's new VP loudspeaker range, a compact new breed of loudspeaker offering high performance and more.

The Warehouse also teamed up with Audio-Technica, the UK exclusive distributor Allen & Heath to showcase their next generation digital mixing system, dLive. The Warehouse is the only Scottish supplier of the Allen & Heath dLive desks so PLASA provided members of the live audio industry a unique opportunity to see the system in action.

The Warehouse Sound Services specialises in wireless technology and PLASA Scotland provided an ideal opportunity to showcase the Sennheiser Digital 9000 System, a digital wireless system that can transmit completely uncompressed audio, artefact-free and with superb dynamics.

Janet, added, "PLASA Focus is our showcase. It's a way of getting our exiting new products seen by our customers. This year we witnessed a positive level enthusiasm and footfall. Significantly PLASA Glasgow allows us a unique opportunity meet customers in our hometown and from a customer focus point of view that is essential. The ability to concentrate directly on what customers want has had a significant impact on sales, direct enquires and leads."
