Europe - LED screen, drapes and special FX specialist S+H Technical Services is supplying their Glux 12mm LED screen to the current UK and European tour by maverick rock band 10cc which is celebrating 40 years since their seminal Sheet Music album. Released in 1974 this was their second album which received worldwide critical acclaim and remained in the UK charts for six months.

The LED screen was specified by video and visuals designer Ian Holmes of Essex, UK based XIVIX, having used it very successfully on previous tours.

It's the second tour for which he has co-ordinated the video elements for 10cc, where he is again collaborating very closely with lighting designer Russell 'Tigger' Matthews - they have also previously worked together on the Genesis Revisited European tour by Steve Hackett throughout 2013 and "make a good team" says Ian.

USA - SGM has released a new addition to G-range of moving heads. The G-4 Wash is a lightweight and compact high-power Fresnel wash light with "superb colour mixing and very low power consumption".

The Netherlands - Luc Peumans from Painting with Light was asked to create a lighting scheme for the recent new musical Sky which ran at the Theater Amsterdam featuring spectacular 3D video scenery.

The show was produced by Imagine Nation (Robin de Levita & Kees Abrahams) and featured music by John Ewbank and Marco Borsato.

Luc, himself experienced at working in 3D and 'surround visual' environments, was also asked to collaborate on this production because of his flair for lighting this hybrid genre of performance, which combines the emotion and connection of musical theatre with the latest presentation technologies.

USA - Christie has partnered with Radio City Music Hall to provide its Boxer 4K30 projectors to enhance and add a new dimension to the world-famous Radio City Rockettes productions. This includes the upcoming Christmas Spectacular, starring the Radio City Rockettes.

With the rapid growth of technology in live entertainment and the desire to maximise the visual impact surrounding Radio City's beloved theatrical productions, The Madison Square Garden Company enlisted Christie Boxer for the projector installation.

UK - Arena Group designed and installed London's largest temporary cinema venue in Victoria Embankment Gardens, forming part of the 60th anniversary celebrations of BFI's London Film Festival, 5-16 October.

The spectacle, produced by Stardust Circus International, which combines the drama and theatrical gruesomeness of Gothic horror with quick-witted illusion art, was launched at the Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, where it enjoyed a successful seven-week run before going on the road.

The action includes mind-boggling special effects that help transport audiences into a strange world where nothing is as it seems, as Hans Klok's House of Horror tests and exceeds the limits of the genre of 'illusion.' USA - MCA Nashville recording artist Clare Dunn is now making a name for herself as one of the hottest touring artists.
