UK - GDS has reported its busiest PLASA to date. GDS experienced particular interest from industry professionals in its new CueSystem NET and LiteWare HO high output wireless battery uplighter. GDS also exhibited the multi-award winning BluesSystem and MainsSystem working lights, MotorControl, The Stage Managers Console and MOBAL, the award winning multi-functional Socapex fault diagnosis and correction tool.

Matthew Lloyd, managing director at GDS commented, "PLASA is always a good show for us, but this year it surpassed all expectations. It was extremely busy and we met with many new and existing customers. During the show we successfully added to our global distribution network. The icing on the cake for us was winning the Theatres Trust Peoples Choice Award for BluesSystem, we are thrilled to receive recognition from the industry professionals that voted for us."

GDS showcased its new CueSystem NET a networked cue light system which launched at ProLight + Sound earlier in the year. In an industry first, with the ever-increasing trend towards completely networked show control and lighting systems, the CueSystem NET allows for complete flexibility within stage management environments.

Also at the show GDS featured the newest addition to its LiteWare range, LiteWare HO (High Output). Following the success of LiteWare wireless battery RGB uplighter, launched in 2009, LiteWare HO is a high output version offering 80Watts of LED power, twice as bright as LiteWare UL. Designed to be completely compatible with the existing LiteWare range, the LiteWare HO product is the same footprint as the standard version and is calibrated to deliver colour-matched output.
