UK - The Institute of Professional Sound (IPS) is turning up the volume on its Pro-Audio Show 2023 at Greenford Hall in west London on Saturday 14 October. The event is totally dedicated to sound professionals.
With live Q&A sessions, over 30 international exhibitors representing more than 70 brands, and UK debuts of a number of technology products, the free one-day event caters for ‘everybody with a passion for professional sound’. USA - Indie folk rock band Dispatch is back touring with a lighting package from Bandit Lites. Comprised of Chadwick Stokes and Brad Corrigan, the Boston-based band were ready to release an album and tour when the COVID-19 pandemic happened. The band utilised the time to retool and deconstruct songs and released their eighth studio album Break Our Fall in August 2022.
They kicked off their summer tour with performances alongside the National Symphony orchestra, requiring lighting designer David Singleton of Datum Creative to engineer a design that could adapt to the special shows and additional festivals.

USA - Due to be unveiled at the end of September, the new Big Hoss TV, a GoVision project featuring a digiLED VISION ULTRA screen, will deliver a significantly bigger, brighter experience for fans at Texas Motor Speedway, in Fort Worth, Texas. Owned by US leading sponsor Speedway Motorsports LLC, the venue is one of the country’s largest sports facilities.
The screen replaces the original, Guinness World Record winning, Big Hoss TV which has graced the venue since 2014. UK - One of London’s most talked about new openings, Outernet Venues, has put its trust in Clair Global Integration (CGI) for audio and networking solutions throughout three of its spaces.
