UK - A.C. Entertainment Technologies has been appointed as an authorised UK distributor for German Lighting Products (GLP).

GLP appointed A.C. due to its proven track record of helping to launch innovative new technologies into the UK market. The company has invested in extensive demonstration & training facilities and a fully equipped service & repair centre, ensuring it provides the highest standards of customer care, both pre and post sale.

GLP's business director, Kasper Gissel, commented: "We appointed A.C. Entertainment Technologies due to its renowned expertise in the UK lighting industry. They have the infrastructure in place to ensure our products are backed by the highest levels of service and support at every stage of the customer experience."

A.C. Entertainment Technologies will have full access to the GLP product range and carry stock of the Impression & Impression XL LED moving head range. Demonstrations of the fixtures will be held on the A.C. stand at the PLASA Focus tradeshow. Also, GLP product training and demonstrations will be available in-house at their High Wycombe and Leeds offices, as well as at a future open day event to be announced soon.

The new Impression XL baseless LED fixture has almost three times the light output of the original Impression (240 LEDs compared to 90), yet provides the same consistent and high quality of light. This results in especially rich colours and a beautiful beam. Furthermore, the Impression XL is only 23kg and retains the same innovative design as the original model, including silent operation and low power consumption.

A.C. Entertainment Technologies' northern sales director, Jonathan Walters, commented: "We are delighted to be selected as a UK distribution partner for GLP. The company's product range has been well received by the international rental market, particularly for major concert and TV applications, so the brand will provide our client base with an even greater choice of innovative solutions to meet their lighting needs."
