As the exclusive UK dealer for the MDG product range, A.C. held two one-day sessions at their Northern and Southern sales offices for new and existing end users, carried out by the company's technical services manager and Gaetan Croteau, MDG Technician.
Products covered included the Atmosphere Series APS and Touring haze generators, the Max Series 3000 APS and 5000 APS fog generators, and the Ice Fog Series Compack and Ice Fog low fog generators.
The sessions were designed to provide users with the necessary skills and knowledge required to carry out regular technical preventative maintenance on products, thereby ensuring their continued maximum efficiency, performance and reliability.
After the sessions, which included training on the safe and proper use of BOC gas cylinders and Cryogenic Dewars, and concluded with an onsite test, users became certified MDG technicians.
Simon Evans, operations manager for AFM Lighting, attended the Southern training session and said: "Today has been really informative and constructive. Having the supplier, manufacturer and customers from different ends of the industry together in one room has really added value to the training session as it's provided an opportunity for everyone to exchange feedback. We're also walking away as fully certified MDG technicians, making it thoroughly worthwhile."
