Recipient of a PLASA Award for Innovation at last year's show, the Vision finally offers a master control that can be the interface between lighting consoles, media servers, MIDI / SMPTE devices and many other show system components. With minimal set-up time, its large touch screen mappable buttons allow it to quickly navigate to and trigger all other devices. As a result, programming a show is faster and easier, says the company.
For real live control, by connecting the Vision to a favourite lighting console, users can directly navigate into their cue-lists / executor lists, and add all kinds of new functions to their show.
The Vision gives users greater visibility of their media server content. Features include providing extra clip metadata info; a thumbs overview of up to 10 pages of clips for convenient viewing, selecting and activating 'on the fly'; and up to 16 layer-previews and four output-previews, making it possible to see exactly what's currently active on a layer, the speed at which it is playing and where the clip is.
The Vision provides a host of built-in connectivity options for syncing together or triggering live many different devices from one location. It can also act as an interface between devices for translation of signals.
The Vision is compatible with many leading media server and lighting console products, including Hippo V3, Pandora's Box, MediaMaster, Flying Pig and MA-Lighting.
Midiator's Menno Pleij commented: "We have chosen A.C. Entertainment Technologies as the UK and Northern Ireland distributor because of their long track record in the industry and recent innovation in the field of video and lighting integration, which is an area of great importance and interest to us."
