Among the products that drew the most attention at InfoComm was the company's lineup of LED video panels
USA - Although the Chauvet Professional team arrived at InfoComm with great enthusiasm about the products they would be exhibiting, even the most optimistic among them didn't anticipate the size of the crowds that would stream into their booth - nor the overwhelming praise that attendees would lavish on the company's latest innovations in lighting and video.

"We knew we were bringing some very special products to InfoComm," said Ford Sellers, senior product manager for Chauvet Professional. "But we were amazed by the turnout at our booth, which remained packed throughout the show, and quite thrilled and honoured to hear all the positive things people were saying about our products.

"A lot of thought, research and development goes into every product we bring to market," added Sellers, "so this terrific response at InfoComm reaffirms our belief that we are right on the mark in meeting the needs of AV professionals. It turned out to be truly a show to remember for Chauvet Professional."

Among the products that drew the most attention at InfoComm, reported Sellers, were the company's lineup of LED video panels, which includes several new units with feature sets geared toward specific applications, as well as a new LED warm white wash/blinder, the Strike 4.

On the LED video front, standouts at InfoComm included the PVP X3 LED Video Panel with 16,384 Tri-Color (red, green, blue) SMD 2121 black body LEDs; the PVP X6IP LED Video Panel, which is rated IP65 for outdoor use; and the C6 LED Video Panel, designed specifically for permanent indoor venues that want to add a big video wall without the big price tag.

Another crowd favourite was the Synapse-4, an intelligent relay pack that takes one powerCON input and branches it into four outputs, each of which can be powered off individually. By allowing users to control the power sent to individual lighting units, the Synapse-4 maximizes energy savings in the operation of LED fixtures and may help extend the life of 'non-LED, components such as power supplies and electronic and mechanical units, making it an indispensable tool for fixed installations.
