ABTT 2019: Unusual Rigging demos K2 software

Speaking ahead of the show, director and head of sustainability at Unusual, Tom Harper explains: "K2 is Kinesys' motion control console. It employs an intuitive approach to automation programming. We at Unusual are extremely excited by the potential that this system enables, having recently used it for a concert for Swedish House Mafia - allowing us to expand the scope of rigging and engineering solutions for all our clients' creative ideas."
Visitors to stand P1 will have the chance to talk through their project needs with the Unusual team, as well as viewing a stunning visual show-reel of the company's 'best bits' of the last year.
Harper continues: "Our annual show-reel has become something of an attraction at ABTT in recent years. It showcases some of our most challenging and diverse projects, highlighting the amazing work that our teams do across a spectrum of sectors - theatre, museums, outdoor events - challenging, beautiful and often jaw-dropping."
A new Engineered Solutions brochure will also be available on the stand which offers potential customers a general overview of the plethora of solutions Unusual can offer a project. “ABTT is the main event on our trade show calendar - for us it's the place to see and be seen, giving us the opportunity to talk to our customers and find out how we can work with them to make their visions a reality. It's exciting - and it means we are constantly thinking of ways to go that extra mile to make sure we're ticking all the right boxes.”
Harper will also be facilitating a discussion on 6 June in the Roman Bar with fellow SiPA advocates exploring the extent to which the industry is transitioning to a circular economy. “This is a vital aspect of everything we do at Unusual and we firmly believe in the importance of getting other organisations within this sector on board with meeting SiPA's goals.”
