After winning the Renault Clio Cup in 2012, Jack moved up a level and signed with Team HARD for the 2013 BTCC season. He achieved great pace over the season, including being second fastest for most of the race day at Silverstone and a 2nd place podium finish in the final round at Brands Hatch.
As a result of his performance, Jack has been invited to be a guest driver for CAST Motorsport in the Lotus Six Hour endurance race on the Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch this Saturday 9 November. He shares his guest drive with Simon Deacon, the current Lotus Cup UK Overall & 211 Champion.
The long distance Lotus race frequently features guest drivers from the world of motorsport. Race regulars of the MSVR-run Elise Trophy and Lotus Cup Series will also be joined by former Team Lotus F1 driver, Martin Donnelly, as well as British GT regulars Freddie Hetherington, Michael Lyons and Adam Wilcox.
The CAST Motorsport racing team is headed up by Phill Capstick, managing director of AC-ET.
The company are a major team sponsor, extending their ties with the motor racing industry through sponsorship of Jack Goff in the BTCC and their Patronage of the British Racing Drivers' Club's Rising Stars Programme.
AC-ET's Jonathan Walters, co-ordinator of the company's Jack Goff Racing sponsorship activity, commented, "On behalf of AC-ET and the other industry sponsors, I would like to congratulate Jack on a fantastic debut season in the BTCC. The interest in sponsoring Jack has been huge since his great result at Brands Hatch, which was the perfect way to end the year. We're really excited for the 2014 season and hope that even more of the industry can be involved next year, to share in Jack's success."
Jack commented, "I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every sponsor from the professional entertainment industry who has supported me throughout this season, as well as my family and of course everyone at Team HARD, for giving me a race-competitive car to get onto podiums with."
