UK - High Wycombe-based industry distributor, A.C. Entertainment Technologies Ltd is launching a training programme to find new recruits for its expanding sales teams, aimed at individuals currently working in the entertainment sector, or with previous sales experience and looking for a change of career.

The three-week paid training programme will give candidates a thorough induction to some of the most popular and industry-standard lighting, audio, rigging and video entertainment technologies stocked by AC-ET, which supplies over 200 brands to dealers, distributors and end users in 80 countries worldwide.

Successful candidates selected from the training course will then follow a development programme over the next 12 months, depending on their individual level of industry experience.

Originally launched in 2003, the training programme has proved extremely successful, with 60% of candidates still working for the company eight years later.

A company statement reads: "In the current economic climate, and with education tuition fees recently seeing a dramatic rise, the AC-ET training programme provides an ideal industry career path for candidates looking to gain a combination of both high quality product training and real-world sales experience."

"For over 40 years, the company has been committed to providing the highest standards of product innovation, distribution and service in the industry. With nearly 600 years combined industry knowledge and a track record of continuous profitability and expansion, AC-ET is one of the leading international providers of cutting edge entertainment technology products. The sales team recruitment programme will enable AC-ET to continue to deliver the highest service levels to its growing international customer base."

To apply for a place on the training programme, candidates should visit www.ac-et.com/vacancies for full details and then send their CV to emma.ridgley@ac-et.com by no later than 6th April. A previous background in the industry or in sales would be preferred, but extensive product training will be provided.
