JTE and lighting designer, Tim Routledge, collaborated on the new project to create a range of vintage-look lighting fixtures with a modern twist. Combining old school aesthetics with a modern output and build quality, the JTE Patt 2013 is the first of this range to be released.
The fixture is a 750W tungsten softlight housed in a beautifully sleek spun aluminium body which maximises its curves to look as good on stage as the performers it illuminates. Taking inspiration for its appearance from vintage broadcast lighting, the JTE Patt 2013 is designed around an easily available, reliable, HPL dimmable light source.
Featuring a 550mm OD spun parabolic aluminium reflector, the fixture is available in all RAL colours, has a lightweight yet robust construction, and utilises JTE's legendary build quality and lighting pedigree. A transport dolly is available to safely carry four units at a time.
JTE's operations director, Paul Young, comments: "The Patt 2013 takes lighting back to what JTE does best, as evidenced from our past history building the first spun aluminium PARcan."
AC-ET's UK sales director, Jonathan Walters, comments, "We're thrilled to be able to offer our customer base this unique, high quality product. By combining JTE's proven manufacturing and reliability with a stunning old-school design which really stands out on-stage, they and Tim Routledge have come up with a winner."
He continues, "The Patt 2013 is the perfect bridge in our lighting portfolio between traditional tungsten-source fixtures and modern LED-based light sources. We expect the product to be in high demand for many shows, festivals and venues over the coming year and onwards."
AC-ET are also the exclusive European master distributor for the full JTE lighting range and PixelRange brand of LED lighting solutions. The JTE product range includes the Par 64, and all other parcans from the Par 56 down to the PAR16, JTE SpotBanks, CycLites, 8-, 4- and 2-Lites and lighting bars.
