The annual conference and exhibition is one of the most high profile healthcare gatherings in the UK
UK - For the NHS Confederation event in June, The ACC Liverpool team provided full production services for the second year running, and this year also provided AV for the conference dinner which took place off site at St George's Hall, Liverpool city centre.

The production needed to be delivered to a set budget, be innovative, colourful, reflect the branding identity and develop from the previous year.

Requirements included live streaming, interactive voting and the recording of all plenary sessions which were then to be made available for post conference viewing.

The annual conference and exhibition is one of the most high profile healthcare gatherings in the UK, bringing together senior leaders from across the whole of the health and social care system.

The team devised its Bring Your Own Device system for interactive voting. Innovative interactive online platforms were used which enabled delegates to ask questions in real time. The service proved popular and Jeremy Hunt MP, secretary of state for health, received more than 300 questions from the audience during his session.

It was streamed live to more than 1000 users and shared by the Daily Mirror website which led to a viewing spike.

Presentations were streamed live and recorded, and are now available on the NHS Confederation website.

An Analogue Way Ascender 48 was used during the plenary sessions in the Arena D-End to enable the display of the multiple sources.

The client requested a dinner at St George's Hall and the ACC Liverpool production team provided the full production and staffing services for the evening event. This included AV such as sound for a string quarter and uplighters as well as stage and screen set-up for 400 guests.

Kathryn Clark, NHS Confederation events project manager, said, "The benefit of using the in-house production team is that they know their space and that to me is really vital. Sometimes you go from venue to venue using different AV companies but to come here and have someone who knows the venue inside and out and can deliver us a great service is fantastic.

"It is a one stop shop - I have one single point of contact that helps me to deliver this event. The event takes place in multiple rooms at ACC Liverpool and this year the dinner was held in another venue in the city so having the one person who I can liaise with to get all that delivered is extremely important to me."
