Ace Event Group to use DisplayLED for sporting events
France - Rental company Ace Event Group, suppliers of a range of audio-visual services from video and data-processing to LED video screens, has recently purchased 128 modules of digiLED T8S.

Based out of Biarritz, Ace Event Group will be using digiLED's latest product from the Tile series, the T8S for events such as sport, lifestyle company promotions, festival and concerts throughout the South of France. With the new company structure being launched, Ace Event Group was keen to update and increase its LED screen inventory and approached DisplayLED's managing director, Michiel Hettinga, to discuss selling its existing Lighthouse screens and upgrading to new digiLED screens.

Key to Ace choosing the digiLED T8S was the fact that they could be involved in the production process, discussing with the displayLED team its special needs to customise the product to suit its requirements. Following discussions, the engineering team designed a bespoke dolly, a transportation wagon, which is compact and allows for easy transportation, loading and unloading, crucial when working to a busy rental schedule. According to displayLED, the long-term expertise of the complete Ace Event Group team has been crucial to the development of the T8S and its accessories which make the product even easier to use and faster to deploy in the realities of day-to-day rental.

Available in a range of pixel pitches from 6mm to 30mm, the digiLED Tile series is suitable for a wide range of fixed and rental applications. While the speed of setup will appeal to the rental market, the digiLED Tile is also being targeted at fixed installations in stadia, outdoor advertising and architectural projects. Because of its modular tile design, it is also suitable for more creative applications such as curved displays in TV studios or innovative set designs.

"We were delighted to have found a partner with such a wealth of know-how and experience in the rental market that was willing to be a pioneer with us for this product," says Michiel Hettinga of DisplayLED GmbH. "Their contribution has been indispensable to make the T8S rental solution into a versatile and innovative complete solution. In addition, for us it is very good to have such a well connected partner in a region that is experiencing tremendous growth. We look forwards to making a real impact in the South West of France."
