Adamson loudspeaker products onstage at the Flato Markham Theatre
Canada - Adamson Systems Engineering hosted the largest-ever gathering of its global network at its Canadian head office and manufacturing facility in Port Perry, at the end of September.
Over 120 partners from around the world took part in two full days of programming, including previews of upcoming products, innovations, and collaborations, all with the goal of better supporting end-users with world-class training and service.
“We’ve welcomed a significant number of new partners to the Adamson global network over the past few years amidst a period of strong year-over-year growth,” says James Oliver, Adamson’s director of sales and marketing. “We’re very proud of the way our international team has supported these partners to date, but recognised an opportunity to bring everyone together, offer a preview of upcoming product releases, and leverage ideas and resources to reinforce a shared vision for continued growth and success. The event was over a year in the making and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.”
Programming began on 21 September with the Adamson Conference at the Flato Markham Theatre in nearby Markham. Guests took in a day full of presentations and demonstrations, learning about Adamson’s approach to product development and innovation, new and incoming technologies, and sales and marketing strategies. Among the new offerings on the horizon are expansions to the tour-grade S-Series and install-focused IS-Series, though guests were also given a sneak preview of new technologies to be formally announced in 2019.
"As we continue to grow as a market leader, the ability to address changing market demands is crucial,” says Brian Fraser, product manager. “To this end, we are adding several new products to both the S-Series and IS-Series product families. To further the excitement, we also gave our network a look at new technology we are about to debut. These new developments cement and advance Adamson’s standing as a technology leader in the professional audio market and I can’t wait until we are able to share them with the rest of the world in 2019.”
On 22 September, guests gathered at Adamson’s headquarters for the second day of the event. In addition to a full factory tour and breakout group meetings, attendees were given the first look at the new Adamson Education Centre. Overseen by Jeremiah Karni, Adamson’s head of education, the completion of the space further affirms the company’s strong ongoing commitment to education and training for its partners and end-users.
“Strong, standardised education is paramount to Adamson’s integrated system offerings,” says Karni. “Our goal is to empower our partners and users to enhance their productivity and the performance of their Adamson systems in the field, regardless of the application.”
On the evening of 22 September, Adamson hosted the third annual Winding Roads Country Festival on the grounds of its headquarters. The sold-out event united the Adamson Global Network with members of the local community that have long supported the company’s operations. Attendees enjoyed performances by Canadian Country Music Award-winner Madeline Merlo alongside local acts Ben Hudson and Brad James, with all proceeds going to support the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of North Durham.
