The road trip started in Athens with NET Audio where a service upgrade on their old SpekTrix demo system was performed. From Athens, the trio continued to Key Sound's shop in Klidi, a small town near Thesaloniki to check on their SpekTrix system, after which they continued to Thessalonic to take a listen to Electrosound's Y10 & T21 Sub system. Sommer and Dohrmann looked into control and measurement systems used by the partner companies and verified each enclosure's component individually.
The road trip was spearheaded by DN'A's Tsonopoulos who has been in a continuous effort to increase Adamson support in Greece since he took over Adamson distribution in the territory early last year. Tsonopoulos organised the trip with the help of the partner companies involved.
Tsonopoulos received some enthusiastic feedback from the participants. "All involved expressed desire to establish an annual technical support tour. This further reinforces that buying an Adamson system offers more than ownership of a leading speaker brand, but also establishes confidence that the systems are being supported for continuous high-end performance," he says.
