Jacques Tessier, founder and CEO of Theatrixx comments, "Though I come from an audio background, our distribution has been focused on lighting and video for the past few years. We wanted to expand into audio with a high-end product line. Adamson is clearly one of three dominant players in our eyes, when you look to quality and performance. It's built in Canada and the local market penetration is at a fraction of the potential.
"I've know Brock for more than 20 years and it's always interesting to discuss his innovative approach to speaker design and application. We recently finished some interesting projects with Adamson products and we were amazed by the sound quality, overall engineering and construction. With their current product line up, team and market potential, it is now the perfect time to make the move. It was an obvious choice."
Jesse Adamson, director of marketing and sales stated, "Theatrixx is a highly respected and trusted company in the industry. I've worked with Jacques Tessier, president of Theatrixx, for many years, and before me, Brock Adamson worked with him for many years also. I'm positive that this is a great fit."
Theatrixx officially launched Adamson at the recent En Coulisse Show in Montreal, and will touchdown next at Toronto's Miac/PAL show taking place on 16 and 17 May at the new Direct Energy Centre in downtown Toronto.
