Canada - MediaTech s.r.o., a leading pro audio company, has been appointed Adamson's distributor for the Czech Republic. Established in 1991 in the former Czechoslovakia, the company has grown from its four founding members to close to 40, and has compiled an impressive line card that includes Lab.gruppen and it's parent company t.c.electronic. MediaTech headquarters are about 100km east of Prague in the town of Chrudim and a regional office is located in the eastern part of the county. Mediatech s.r.o is also a majority shareholder of Mediattech Spol.s.r.o in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Their Adamson demo stock consists of 16 Spektrix, six Spektrix Subs, a turnkey solutions package that includes Lab.gruppen fP3400's and fP6400's amps, Adamson's DX6000 Processors, Adamson's European Touring Series panels, and Adamson European A/C Panels.

MediaTech's employees attended Adamson's training seminar, held at their offices in Chrudim, by Andy Weingartner of Adamson Support Europe- DV2's German office. Jiri Maly of MediaTech commented: "Everyone who attended the training seminar learned valuable and practical audio knowledge including Adamson's true line source array technology."

In addition to touring support, Mediatech specialises in turn-key projects for radio stations, studios, theatres, and sound in shopping centres. Their five experienced technicians work in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Managing director of Mediatech, Miroslav Sostaric says: "We are very happy to be part of the Adamson family and are looking forward to introducing their top of the line products into our market" a network that includes 120 dealers in the Czech Republic alone. Mediatech is certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 and is the only company in the country to achieve it."
