The Euro-Sine 3 kW sine wave dimmer.
UK - The IBC and PLASA 2006 shows will see several major new product releases from ADB Lighting Technologies, as well as an expanded accessory range.

On PLASA stand H19, the company will unveil two new ranges of luminaires in the award winning Warp series - the HMI Warp/Daylight and the cool running, long lamp-life Warp/Ceramic, along with new Warp series accessories. Two new dimmers will also be on show - the Eurodim Sine Wave series and the Erack 50 Plus economy dimmer rack.

On IBC stand 11.539, ADB will show the improved Softlight Rah2502/S and Rap2502/S - the first units were recently supplied to Flemish Television studios - and the Eurodim Sine Wave Dimmer. The new, HMI powered Warp/Daylight automated spot luminaire range, available in both motorised and manual versions, provides the brightest beam in the 575 discharge lamp range. A new fixture range with electronic flicker free ballasts, with two different light output angles of 12-30 and 22-50 degrees, its light output is over 10,500 LUX.

The second luminaire launch at PLASA will be the high light output, cool beam Warp/Ceramic range for architectural and entertainment applications with the extra bonus of extremely long lamp life. Based on the Philips Ceramic ST 250 HR discharge lamp, with the colour temperature of a tungsten halogen light source (3200K), it produces the same light output as a 1000W tungsten halogen lamp for only 250W power consumption.

New accessories for the Warp range include a low-noise colour changer and, for touring and rental users, a single unit flight case for the Warp/M.

Two new dimmers have also joined the ADB product range. The Euro-Sine 3 and 5 kW sine wave dimmers for ADB Eurodim dimmer cabinets, previewed at Pro Light+Sound this spring, are based on the proven and reliable concept of ADB's Eurodim family. They will be on show at both IBC and PLASA.

For lower budget fixed installations including studios and schools, the newly upgraded Erack 50 Plus fixed installation economy dimmers will be launched at PLASA.

Finally, IBC visitors will get the chance to see ADB's newly upgraded Softlight Rah2502/S and RAP2502/S television studio fixtures - the first units were recently supplied to Flemish Television studios. This Soft Light is designed to give extra soft shadowless light from a 2500W halogen light source. A range of accessories, such as barndoors and eggcrates, is already available.
