Florian Herkert is appointed as account manager for Germany where he will take care of developing the sales of the QSC Pro Audio sector.
With AED Distribution representing products in the BeNeLux like Q-Sys, AcousticDesign and CXD amplifiers oriented towards the integrated systems market, Stef De Pooter joins the team as business development manager for the systems market.
Hans Vanderheijden, managing director at AED Distribution HQ, comments, "For many years QSC Pro Audio has been the preferred choice for portable PA systems in the BeNeLux rental market. Last year we added the distribution of QSC Pro Audio in Germany and UK, and after a successful implementation of an entirely new retailer network, we are now expanding our team to be even more supportive towards the professional rental & touring market segment in Germany and the UK.

Florian Herkert will work alongside Carsten Schiedeck. Florian comes with a background as FOH and studio engineer and was involved in several studio, live and TV productions. He has a bachelor in Audio Engineering at the SAE Institute Stuttgart. Besides his work in the field, Florian has been working as sales manager PA & Light at one of the biggest retailers in Germany.
Stef De Pooter's main role will be to further develop the systems business where the company aims to strengthen its presence. Stef has more than 25 years of experience in the professional audio business both as studio and FOH sound engineer and in pro-audio sales.
