Hannah Eakins, customer relationships manager for AED Rent UK said: "We weren't really sure what to expect as this is the first time we have exhibited at a UK trade show, but the welcome we have received has been a very warm one and we are looking forward to being open and providing support to UK rental companies from our new building in High Wycombe. We are very happy that we are finally able to announce the news!"
With warehouses and offices in Belgium, Germany, France and The Netherlands, AED Rent is one of the leading pure dry hire companies in Europe, supplying lighting, audio, video, trussing and rigging equipment to professional rental companies only. Their extensive stock includes over 3,500 speaker cabinets, 2,500 hoists, 3,000 moving heads, 1,000 LED moving heads, 30 miles of truss, 2,000sq.m of LED walls and 600 plasma screens.
CEO of the AED group, Glenn Roggeman said: "This was our first time exhibiting at the world famous PLASA and after three years of being a visitor, it was for me, a very nice experience to talk with over 100 audio, lighting and video companies and to announce our opening date in the UK.
"Even during these difficult times in the financial crisis, a lot of rental companies are being more creative and many of them are starting to provide their clients with other services. For example, audio companies might start to do lighting, video companies might start to do lighting, or lighting companies might start to do video, or even open a rehearsal studio! All of this is providing an extra service to their clients. "
He added: "The future is bright! Even in the economic downturn, the future is in our hands together, with PLASA and with all of its members."
