A live band will be present on the first day of each session. The plan is to make the whole event a very hands-on experience for everyone who attends. The event is being managed by Sable Marketing, UK distributors for Manley Labs & George Massenburg's GML range of equipment.
Gary Ash of Sable Marketing comments, "George is friends with Chuck Ainlay, who's worked at British Grove Studios extensively (engineering and producing for Mark Knopfler) and when George and I visited last year we just thought 'What an amazing facility. How great would it be to hold a teaching seminar here?' Chuck agreed and so, with the help of studio manager David Stewart, we've managed to schedule this event directly after the AES Convention.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for anyone studying audio engineering or running their own studio, and it's just got to add to the buzz we all want there to be around the first London AES for 20 years, and to help remind people of how important this city is as a recording centre."
