Germany - ProLight&Sound 2003: AKG showed the new Emotion/Tri-Power Series of microphones for wired or wireless use. The Series features the plug-in TM 40 transmitter module, which can replace the XLR connector module on any of the D 3700, D 880 or C 900 microphones within seconds, to produce a high-performance wireless mic for use with the WMS 40 system.AKG's latest wireless system is the WMS 4000, a versatile wideband UHF system with true-diversity receiver, offering 1200 frequencies in each of six bands. Configurable via the company's Mission Control software, this extremely stylish system features intelligent battery management, universal charger, backlit display on all transmitters and receivers and a turn-push jog control for one-handed use.
