Alcons offers a complete portfolio from point-source, through line-source to line-array solutions, all based around proprietary and multiple-patented pro-ribbon transducer technology.
Point source systems on show - the traditional way of reinforcing theatre sound - include the VR8 compact monitor on display, as well as the SR9 front-fill, both two-way passive systems, featuring a 4" pro-ribbon HF driver.
Line source solutions are represented by the QR36 pro-ribbon column array system, a modular array concept comprising loudspeaker modules, one metre in length that can form long arrays for ultimate controlled projection.
Line-array comes in the form of the highly successful LR7 micro line-array system, together with the LR7Bass system, which has received great acclaim in different international reviews and tests.
In addition, visitors will be able to get a sneak preview of the forthcoming BC332 cardioid subwoofer. This compact, self-contained subwoofer system features a single direct-radiating 18" on the front and a single 15" woofer on the rear. Processed by the Alcons Digital Drive Processor (DDP), the BC332 offers selectable cardioid, low-frequency pattern control, without any need for additional cabinets.
