"Alex is perfectly suited to lead our MG Business Unit and will establish both a long-term strategic plan for the business as well as deliver entirely new standards for service, partnership and innovation to our customers worldwide," said Mark Graham, Loud CEO. "This also completes the organisational decentralization effort Loud initiated earlier in the year, and establishes three fully autonomous business units within the Company: EAW, Martin Audio and MG - each led by a general manager with full span of control over their respective businesses and brands' positions."
As part of the realignment, John Boudreau will assume the expanded role of SVP product lifecyle management and will report to Nelson. In this role, Boudreau will now manage all aspects of the Ampeg, Crate and Mackie product lines - from conception and launch, to support and obsolescence.
"By aligning post-sales support and service with product design and product management, we will shorten the feedback loop between the market and those best able to respond to customer needs and changing market conditions," said Graham. "Alex and John are a formidable team and this new structure will enable them to channel their experience, energy and creativity to become the driving force in this industry that they are capable of. I am proud of the quality and depth of the entire MG Group, and with Alex and John at the helm, they will set a new industry standard for service and innovation."
