Allen & Heath’s Xone:62 mixers were installed in three arenas but a Xone:V6 was the preferred choice for the flagship stage, The Powerhouse. EAW provided speaker systems for the event and European technical sales manager, Sean Martin, commented: “Southport Weekender runs twice a year and attract over 5,000 people from across Europe. DJs apart, the top performance for me had to be Allen & Heath's new Xone:V6 mixer. All the DJs loved it and in my opinion I believe it improved the overall quality of our loudspeaker system by possibly 15-20%."
