USA - American DJ has added three new mobile effects to its On-The-Go Series - the Deco FX, Hyper FX and Warp FX. Targeted toward beginners as well as experienced performers, each of these additions to the On-The-Go series is modelled after a larger, more complex and/or more expensive American DJ effect that is not part of the series, says the company.

"With these three new fixtures, we've taken some of our best-selling effects and re-interpreted them to fit the On-The-Go model by scaling down their size and weight and simplifying their operation," said Scott Davies, general manager of the American DJ Group of Companies. "Our new Deco FX, Hyper FX and Warp FX are designed for anyone who wants an effortless and affordable way to enhance their performance with an interesting variety of great, professional-quality effects. If you're a DJ, musician or entertainer who wants a cool light show with tremendous optics, but doesn't want to mess around with any technical stuff or DMX programming, these fixtures are definitely for you."

The Deco FX is a smaller, lighter, 'non-intelligent' version of American DJ's DMX 250W Deco 250 effect. It offers 11 vibrant colours and eight unique cut glass patterns.

The Warp FX is a 150W On-The-Go version of American DJ's 250W Warp 250. Capable of producing 12 rotating gobo/colour patterns similar to those created by its bigger cousin, the Warp FX is trimmer and more lightweight for greater mobility.

The Hyper FX is modelled after the 250W Hyper Beam, an effect that reflects coloured beams through a rotating three-sided prism. It is equipped with a gobo wheel containing 12 different patterns that cover a wide area when reflected through its rotating prism.
