Julian Pieters joins Ampetronic from Cambridge Consultants, one of the foremost consultancies delivering turnkey product and technology development programmes. His management experience there, plus an INSEAD MBA, makes him ideally suited for his new role. Hollands, meanwhile, has a strong technical background and extensive international sales and marketing experience within the advanced technology and communications industries, working for companies such as Marconi and JDS Uniphase. During his career, he has successfully developed strong customer relationships, managed fast-track new product development and achieved significant business growth in new and global markets whilst managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Leon Pieters will use his 20 years' experience of innovation at the forefront of induction loop technology to focus on new product development, underpinning Ampetronic's next phase of growth. "We're delighted to have the addition of two people with such excellent credentials and demonstrable commercial acumen," says Leon Pieters. "This is a very exciting time for Ampetronic," adds Julian Pieters. "It's common knowledge that enforcement of part three of the Disability Discrimination Act came into force on 1st October, and there is a general raising of awareness of the quality of access that needs to be provided, which is due to social change as much as legislation. We also have an aging population, and that means that there is an increase in demand for products such as ours, so we've chosen to bring in new people to meet the growth we foresee."
