Those already in possession of their DX Series loudspeakers include Visuel in Normandy who have already used them for the Fete de la Musique on 21 June; Alpha Audio in La Rochelle; and SNO Technique just outside Paris. In addition to sales in the domestic market, there are also a number of orders in preparation for the export market, particularly to Germany and the UK where APG has developed strong distribution partnerships.
APG head of sales and marketing, Xavier Pion, comments, "We were pretty confident that we'd have a great reaction to the new range, but it's always reassuring when the market agrees with you. That said, our engineers have worked very hard to bring out a worthy successor to our highly successful DS range with excellent results. The new generation DX loudspeakers offer an even better power/size ratio, greater versatility and even more sophisticated ergonomics."
Philippe Marliangeas of Alpha Audio based near La Rochelle on the west coast of France was one of the first customers to take delivery of the new DX15. "It is both interesting and gratifying to see how the new DX15 has evolved, both sonically and aesthetically - proof once again that APG really takes the time and the trouble to listen to their customers," he noted. "From a performance point of view, whilst the DS15 was good, the new DX15 is even better."
Parisian rental company SNO Technique has also invested in DX15 speakers as part of an inventory upgrade replacing all the DS15s. "SNO Technique is an important rental partner for APG, so it's a logical step for us to upgrade our inventory with new product when it becomes available," commented SNO Technique's Jean-Francois Fougeras.
