BVCAM's managing director, Danny Huen, was pleased to note that the event was a great success. "It was very well attended," he stated. "We had delegates from rental companies, TV stations, theatres, nightclubs, and stadia. It has to be said that some of them were sceptical about doing a demo like this in a church because even a modern church like this one is a notoriously difficult acoustic environment in which to work. However, by the time we finished, they all agreed that the performance of the APG products we demoed was exceptional, even in a complex venue."
Attendees were given demos of the SMX15 multi-purpose monitor speakers, the Uniline line array system (UL210 mid/hi cabinet and TB215 and TB218 subs), and the very latest DX Series monitors, the DX12 and DX15.
"We had a great reaction to all of the systems we demoed," confirmed APG's Xavier Pion. "Nothing but positive comments from everybody, despite a few initial reservations from some of the guests. However, I'm pleased to say that everyone took the time to listen to each system properly and in detail, and by the time we'd finished, there were no more reservations - on the contrary, everyone was extremely impressed with what they'd heard.
"As far as I am concerned, the event was a complete success, and I would like to thank the team at BVCAM for organising it all with such detail and precision. Everyone, and Danny in particular, did an excellent job, and I am sure that we will all reap the benefits in the near future. In fact, we have already done some excellent business in China, and we're looking forward to announcing some exciting projects very soon!"
Danny Huen adds, "This was an important event for APG in China, and important for us as their distributor. We were able to prove to our customers that APG is a professional company with a full range of products that can be tailored to a wide range of applications and client requirements. We look forward to a long and mutually profitable relationship."
