At this year's NAMM Show, Aphex unveiled a number of new recording products that are set to start arriving in April. These include the USB500, a 500 Series rack combined with professional standard USB 2.0 audio interface, as well as a range of new 500 Series modules including mic pres, aural exciter, EQ and compressor modules. Not stopping there, Aphex also introduced the Project Channel, an affordable high-quality channel strip with Aural Exciter and Big Bottom technology, the MicX USB 24Bit/96K condenser microphone with built-in processing controls and the IN2 two-channel professional audio interface.
"We are extremely pleased to be representing Aphex in the UK and Ireland," said Simon Lowther, managing director of MSL Professional. "Aphex has a fantastic brand heritage and is building on this with some great new forward looking products. We at MSL Pro look forward to working closely with Aphex to build up the brand in the UK and bring both new and classic Aphex products to a much wider customer base."
Aphex chairman and CEO, David Wiener, reinforced the importance of this new association, stating, "Aphex is on a roll, building its brand worldwide and our new partnership in the UK with MSL Professional is going to be very powerful. The UK represents such an important source of music and great artists and we're excited to create added awareness with MSL - they really have vision and understand the impact of our products and technologies."
