UK - An innovative new product which allows clients to light up their business image, in an easy to use, portable and compact format, has been introduced by Apticol Ltd. The new LED Imaging Spotlight, for use in applications which require full colour image projection or accurate beam shaping, has already attracted major interest from a number of sectors who have identified a variety of uses for the compact, high quality product, the company reports.

Applications for the LED Imaging Spotlight include advertising, logo projection and point-of-sale to name but a few, and is well suited to such environments as retail, pubs and clubs, hotels, museums, galleries and leisure facilities.

"Utilising LED technology, the Imaging Spotlight is both energy efficient and environmentally friendly, boasting long life-time and reduced waste", say Apticol. The company, which specializes in illumination and optical design, has developed the spotlight in line with various other optical projects which are currently ongoing.

The 10W LED Imaging Spotlight comprises a sleek black aluminium housing with enhanced thermal management, lockable pan-and-tilt mechanism and fully focusable 20° beam with precision engineered aspherical optics. Projected images can be created via standard gobos (size E) or by custom printing images onto acetate sheet, which can then be cut to size. Steel shutters are supplied as an optional extra for beam shaping when used for feature lighting or similar applications. The LED spotlight is initially available with cool or warm white beam, with a colour changing version currently under review.

The LED Imaging Spotlight is supplied complete with driver and gobo holder.
