ARCUS Lighting staff members have been certified by High End Systems to teach programming and operation of Wholehog consoles including the Wholehog 3, Road Hog Full Boar, Road Hog and Hog 3PC software. Utilising the latest software, students will learn in-depth procedures for setting up and operating shows on Wholehog consoles. Each class utilizes Road Hog Full Boar consoles connected to WYSIWYG for hands-on learning. Students work 2 per console as they partake in lessons designed to replicate real world situations.
"We are pleased that our distributer, ARCUS Lighting, is offering these Wholehog classes on a monthly basis," said Chris Ferrante, High End Systems international sales manager. "The fact that the seminars are held on a regular basis and offered free of charge enables anyone to easily learn the Wholehog systems."
ARCUS Lighting recently held an open house alongside Wholehog training with great success. Showcased at the event were the intellaspot automated luminaire, Technospot automated luminaire, DL.3 digital light and Road Hog Full Boar lighting console. In addition, the event was the world premier of the new Trackspot Bolt moving mirror fixture. The Trackspot Bolt is an updated version of the classic Trackspot from High End Systems. Improving on the success of the original which sold over 46,000 units, the Trackspot Bolt is based on an LED engine producing over 3000 lumens of output.
The monthly ARCUS Lighting Wholehog seminars continue with the following dates: 26 & 27 October, 2011, 16 & 17 November, 7 & 8 December. Dates for 2012 will be announced soon.
