ArKaos has now developed a strong user base in China, which is progressing so rapidly with the ArKaos technology that its R&D department claim they are challenging its development! ShowPower is doing a great job in promoting ArKaos in this region and showed ArKaos products to great effect at PALM Expo, says the company.
The ShowPower booth exhibited the new Video Mapper extension for MediaMaster Pro as well as LED walls powered by MediaMaster Express and Kling-Net. The ArKaos Kling-Net protocol was also used on various other booths from different LED manufacturers at PALM Expo. The response from the visitors demonstrated the big interest for the new ArKaos Kling-Net protocol in China.
During the trade show, ShowPower also invited their most important customers for a presentation of ArKaos products, which was followed by in-depth technical training direct from ArKaos, delivered by Toon Serveas and Agnes Wojewoda.
ArKaos also took the opportunity with their time in China to organize a series of training sessions and visits in Beijing. Beijing University invited Agnes Wojewoda, Arkaos' business development manager, to speak in front of students from 1st and 2nd grade of Light & Stage and Stage Art classes. ArKaos' technology was presented to the new generation along with explanations of how it is used by lighting designers and show operators across the world.
Finally, ArKaos had the chance to visit the studios of China Central Television (CCTV), the predominant state television broadcaster in mainland China, where they were shown how ArKaos video solutions are used to display animated backgrounds and visuals on some of CCTV's television sets which are broadcast to in excess of one billion viewers.
