Each of the eight electronically balanced inputs combine into fully balanced Left and Right Master outputs on male XLR sockets. Each channel has Input Muting via its front panel Channel On/Off switch, as well as Signal monitoring via its PFL (PreFade Listening) switch that is routed to a front panel Headphone jack and associated Level control.
For applications where Stereo Output isn't required, the Output XLRs can be summed to Mono with a rear panel switch.
Typical MaxxiMIX applications include broadcast mixing and OB vans, as an analogue summing mixer prior to signal digitising or as a line sub-mixer for external effects units or desktop mixing.
