The 500sq.m warehouse in Rotterdam was chosen to satisfy Ateis International's delivery needs for years to come the company says. Barcode technology ensures that the right consignment goes to the right destination. Overseeing operations is an experienced team with specialist knowledge of customer support and logistics.
After-sales and field support engineer Hans den Hertog is an audio professional of long standing and previously worked with Ateis International's distributors in Holland, where he became well versed in the Messenger and UAP product ranges.
Dick van Driel is logistics manager and has been responsible for creating an updated quality support plan. Under this scheme products will not leave the warehouse until they have been fully tested. Van Driel's experience in this field comes from his time as technical service engineer at Philips' repair centre.
Anne-Lise Girod, who is already known to Ateis International customers, handles client liaison. After working in logistics at Ateis' headquarters in Switzerland for many years Girod decided to move to Rotterdam to help establish the new warehouse operation.
"We decided to invest in this Dutch warehouse to meet the growing number of orders from our loyal customers," said Albert van der Hout, international sales manager. "Because of this we want to support our clients better and more efficiently. By working with them we can make this new operation a success."
