"This is a logical move in Digigram’s development strategy for the broadcast and public address markets," said Philippe Delacroix, Digigram managing director. "This merger will accelerate growth, especially in the broadcast sector. Audemat-Aztec Solutions will reap benefits from the commercial, technological, and financial assets of all three companies involved."
"We find ourselves today at a turning point in broadcast. With the arrival of digital technology and the development of Intranet/Internet networks, companies need to be reactive. Both Audemat and Aztec Radiomedia rose to this challenge, evolving their product ranges to correspond to market needs," said Daniel Werbrouck, Audemat’s founder, chairman and product director. "With the combined know-how of Audemat and Aztec Radiomedia, we will be able to respond rapidly to the evolving regulatory and technical requirements of broadcasters with new and innovative products and projects."
Audemat shareholders will own 60% of the new company with the remaining 40 percent held by Digigram. "Audemat and Aztec Radiomedia clients will benefit from the merger. Our objective is to accelerate the services policy we initiated a year ago," said Bruno Rost, managing director of Audemat, and future managing director of the new company. "Our aim is to grow established client relationships by offering the benefits of both Audemat and Aztec Radiomedia brands. Furthermore, integration into the Digigram group adds to client confidence by making Audemat-Aztec Solutions economically more stable."
