Cambridge-based Audica Professional Ltd products are designed the heartland of UK audio in Cambridge and engineered by a world-leading acoustic design house in Germany to meet the very highest standards for discreet elegance and application flexibility for high fidelity installed sound. The Audica Microseries is ideal for background music systems in applications such as restaurants, retail outlets and hotel public areas and for AV systems in boardrooms, meeting facilities, museums, visitor centres and hotel bedrooms.
Microseries consists of two ultra-compact wall-mount and one ceiling-mount 'micro-spot' loudspeaker which give wide-band audio so that, no matter where you are in the room, the sound from the main loudspeakers remains coherent and pleasing. Integral wire-through brackets are incorporated and the loudspeaker enclosures use aluminium castings and extrusions for quality, performance and to allow unique styling. For most applications no additional bass loudspeakers are required, but for AV requiring extended, higher-level bass performance an active Microsub is available.
At the heart of the Microseries range is the innovative Microzone, a five-configuration amplifier/controller that provides unequalled flexibility for a wide range of applications with single or multi-location input and control. Comprehensive switching functions enable the unit to be used singly and in multiples; as a complete system amplifier/controller; as an additional zone amplifier/controller; as a system master; as a slave amplifier or as a system equaliser. Front user and rear installation inputs, IR remote control and head-unit mounting provide a range of unique application solutions.
Although new to the market, the company has confirmed distribution in 12 countries in the EMEA region and product availability ex stock during September.
