The Audica MICROseries system is designed for background music in applications such as retail outlets, restaurants, bars and public areas and for AV systems in boardrooms, meeting facilities, museums and galleries, visitor centres and hotel guest rooms.
Established in late 2006, Audica Professional is already distributed in 27 countries and is looking to ISE to further expand its sales and distribution. Sales director, Derek West, comments, "Our first full year of operation has exceeded our very best expectations. We have already exhibited at PLASA, ProLight+Sound, PALME and PALM and we see ISE as a key exhibition to add for 2008. Its focus and international appeal are the perfect platform to show our systems to major distributors, installers and integrators within our main market sectors."
At the heart of the Audica Professional MICROseries range is the MICROzone, a 5-configuration amplifier/controller that provides solutions for a wide range of applications with single or multi-location input and control. The MICROzone combines comprehensive switching functions, front and rear inputs, IR remote control and head-unit mounting in a very compact unit that can be used freestanding, fitted directly into furniture or rack-mounted using optional accessories.
The MICROseries includes the MICROpoint and MICROline ultra-compact wall-mount loudspeakers, and the MICROdot ceiling-mount mini-spotlight sized loudspeaker. All reproduce wide-band audio down to 70Hz, so that wherever you are in the room the sound from the main loudspeakers remains coherent and pleasing, says the company.
Audica Professional will be supported at ISE by M-PRO BeNeLux, the distributor for The Netherlands and Belgium.
