Portugal - Portuguese Chameleon distributor Audinova Ltd recently introduced the company's new Atlas digital amplifier range at the Musicália fair in Lisbon, held from 23-26 October. Audinova showed Atlas for the first time on mainland Europe, along with a good selection of other Chameleon products including DP/2, DX and the Studio range of amplifiers. Atlas was shown as a pre-production model and was sent out especially for the exhibition. The four-day show allowed audio demonstrations, giving customers the chance to experience the sound quality of the full range of Chameleon amplifiers.

Nunes de Sousa, general manager of Audinova, commented: "It is amazing, Chameleon is a small company yet has developed technology to produce such a quality digital amplifier. Chameleon analogue amplifiers are well proven and now the digital Atlas range has created great interest during the show, so I need my stock order."

Nunes added: "Many fans had the opportunity to listen to the Chameleon range over the four days. The rental companies really appreciate the true anti-clipping possibility of the DP/2 and DX range. Overall, the Chameleon interest was very high and I expect to take a number of orders in the following few weeks."

The Atlas digital amplifier versions AT-700 2 x 350W and AT-1400 2 x 700W into 4 Ohms are expected to begin shipping at the end of the year.
