UK - Last year saw specialist sound rental company, Audio Alliance, move to larger premises and increase both its stock and staffing levels. This year has seen the company's expansion continue, with further increases in stock and more new members of the team,

Additions to its product portfolio include ten UPJ-1P compact VariO loudspeakers and a number of UMS subs from the Meyer Sound range as well as a Cadac S-Type mixing console, which has already seen service on a new concept in corporate entertaining and creative business development, The Great Northern Cook Off.

Pete Stanbank has joined tghe company as warehouse manager and a new association struck with sound engineer Steve Phillips.

"Audio Alliance concentrates on the corporate sector," says director, Oliver Driver. "Demand for our services is high, with regular work coming from a selection of European based production companies, that we very much work with not for. Together we offer the end client smooth, clear and polished events. Our policy of using the best equipment and employing the finest quality engineering staff, certainly helps us develop new business through recommendations."

Recent jobs include a three-day conference for 1500 people at the ICC for the National Cancer Research, where audio systems and engineers for 15 breakout rooms to augment the NICC's house system were supplied, and a consumer event at the Roundhouse, where Audio Alliance provided its Alcons Audio loudspeaker system.

With the awards industry still buoyant, Audio Alliance recently provided an extensive sound and communications system for 1500 guests at the Insider Property awards, held at the Manchester International Convention Centre, for production company Rapport.

More recently on Sunday 16 November, The Royal Television Society North West Awards saw the stars come out to party. Held at Manchester's Hilton Hotel, production company Constellation once again turned to Audio Alliance to design and supply a system capable of delivering the audio mix and coverage required for this high profile event.
