In addition to taking the lead in frequency planning and co-ordination for the entire conference, Audio-Technica will equip the IBC auditorium with 12 channels of wireless and microphones from its Artist Elite range. Wired microphone models including BP892 and BP893 headsets and gooseneck models from the Engineered Sound series will complement the wireless system in the venue.
The event's conference room will be served by Audio-Technica's new System 10 wireless, with a total of eight of the 2.4GHz systems providing coverage.
Alex Lepges, Audio-Technica's wireless product manager said, "Big conferences generally mean big, expensive wireless systems, but this year we're pleased to be able to offer the well-priced System 10 as a solution for the IBC conference room. It has the ability to combat interference by actively changing frequencies and using three levels of diversity - of key importance at an event like IBC, which is very demanding in terms of the radio frequency pollution throughout the venue."
Terry Nelson, IBC Technical Resources - audio & acoustics commented: "We're very pleased to have Audio-Technica's support again for IBC 2013. The wireless products we use for the event always perform extremely well and are easy to use - and Audio-Technica's technical back-up is excellent. The friendly, efficient service we always receive means I'm delighted the company continues its involvement with IBC this year."
