The new M Series headphones will be among the Audio-Technica highlights at PLASA Focus - the professional monitoring headphones (M20x, M30x, M40x and M50x) debuted at the NAMM Show in January and have met with praise from press and public alike for their natural, well-balanced tone and comfort during long tracking or mixing sessions. The new line-up takes its lead from the original, much-loved M50 and shares the same sonic signature, making it available at a variety of price-points.
High-end recording and live microphones from Audio-Technica's Artist Elite and 40 Series ranges will also be much in evidence - models from the ranges are used by artists as diverse as Metallica and Justin Timberlake to Alicia Keys and Deaf Havana. Also among the mics on display will be Audio-Technica's flagship studio vocal microphone, the four-diaphragm AT5040 cardioid condenser.
Visitors to the Audio-Technica stand at PLASA Focus will also have the chance to try Allen & Heath's well-received QU16 and GLD digital mixing systems - and learn about in-depth features of the QU24 mixer in a free-to-attend seminar on Tuesday 29 April. Hosted by Audio-Technica's UK product and training specialist Alex Jann - entitled 'Increase Your Productivity And Performance Workflow With Digital Mixing Technology' - will cover a variety of topics including using Scenes and Show Data, recording audio for live video etc and virtual soundchecks for touring shows or gigs.
Finally, a Vicoustic seminar running on Wednesday 30 will present an overview of acoustic treatment technology and educate visitors as to how to get the best from the brand's products in their own studio environments.
